The Russian State Geological Prospecting University ((ロシア語:Российский государственный геологоразведочный университет)) (MGRI-RSGPU), named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze and previously known as the Moscow Geological Prospecting Institute (MGRI, МГРИ), is a university based in Moscow, Russia, specialising in geology, geophysics and other earth-science disciplines. The institute was founded in 1930 as Moscow Geological Prospecting Institute ((ロシア語:Московский геологоразведочный институт)). The institute moved to a new campus in southwestern Moscow in 1987 and was given state accreditation in 2007.
